In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) has been the solution that so many couples have been searching for. We specialize in this technique and are proud to be one of the few fertility centers in the area with a dedicated on-site lab director, bringing quality treatment to patients in Phoenix, AZ and the surrounding area.

IVF is a treatment in which an egg and sperm are fertilized outside of a female patient’s body, then transferred to the uterus in hopes that at least one embryo will attach to the uterine wall. IVF can be performed using fresh eggs and sperm, which must first be harvested, or using frozen eggs, sperm, or embryos. Because IVF aids in seven of the ten steps of conception, it is one of our most successful treatment options.

Starting In Vitro Fertilization

During the initial consultation we delve into the IVF process in detail. We review your medical history, lifestyle factors, and previous fertility tests and treatments. This information allows us to understand all factors that could influence your treatment, and to develop a customized treatment plan that offers you the most comfortable and effective experience possible. Contact our Scottsdale office, our Gilbert office, or our Biltmore office to get started.

The IVF Procedure

We often begin the IVF process with several weeks of fertility medications (either oral or injected) to encourage the production of several eggs, rather than the typical single egg. This is followed by egg retrieval, a minor surgical procedure done on an outpatient basis. The eggs are then fertilized in our lab, using sperm from the partner or pre-selected donor, which mature into embryos. Our lab director selects the healthiest embryo(s) and the physician transfers the embryo(s) to the uterus of the patient where it will implant and grow to a full-term baby.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is a cutting-edge service that may offer you greater success in achieving pregnancy if you have been dealing with low sperm count, low sperm motility, or have experienced failed IVF cycles. ICSI is an advanced fertilization technique involving the injection of a single sperm into a single egg. This procedure allows our team to select the best possible eggs and sperm for fertilization, increasing the chances of success.

IVF Success Rates at Arizona Associates for Reproductive Health

We are very proud of the IVF success rates we see with our patients, from Scottsdale offices, to Gilbert and Biltmore. One of the keys to our high success rates is our lab here in Phoenix. We are among the only centers in the region to have an on-site lab director dedicated day in and day out to providing you with the best possible medical attention.

The IVF journey can be stressful, but we are dedicated to your comfort and your care. Should you have questions regarding IVF costs, success rates, side effects, risks or other issues, our team members are here to guide you. Our goal is the same as yours: we want you to achieve the best possible results – the birth of a healthy baby.
