Patients come to us for advanced fertility treatments, improving their chances of having a healthy baby. Our practice has developed a program, Fertility Awareness Screening, to help introduce patients to the world of fertility testing and treatment
It is an honor and a privilege to be able to help individuals fulfill lifelong dreams of parenthood. At Arizona Associates for Reproductive Health (AZARH) we offer state-of-the-art fertility testing and treatment services to help you on your journey to conceive. If you have been unable to get pregnant within one year of trying (or within six months if you are over 35), we invite you to come into our center to learn more about our fertility testing and treatment options.
Fertility Awareness Screening
Fertility Testing for Women
We offer comprehensive fertility testing for women, including physical evaluation, medical history, blood work, and ultrasound testing. Our Fertility Awareness Screening program also includes the following tests, as well as personalized treatment recommendations from your doctor:
- Pelvic ultrasound: Evaluates the anatomy of both the uterus and the ovaries to check for complications that could prevent pregnancy
- Hormone testing: Includes Follicle Stimulation Hormone (FSH), Luteinizing Hormone (LH), and estradiol
- Hysterosalpingogram (HSG): A procedure where we introduce liquid contrasts into your tubes to check for blockage
We know that this time can be highly emotional for you but our goal is to provide you with a comfortable experience and exceptional care. We are dedicated to helping you find all of the emotional support and financial resources that you may need while pursuing treatment. Please let us know how we can best assist you.
Fertility Testing for Men
Male infertility is a leading cause of infertility, affecting 1 out of 3 of couples who come to us. We recommend fertility testing to all of our male patients to identify and evaluate all potential causes of a couple’s fertility problems. Our male patients receive a semen analysis as part of our Fertility Awareness Screening to observe sperm count, sperm motility (sperm movement) and sperm morphology (sperm shape). We are exceptionally proud of our Andrology Laboratory. Our on-site laboratory provides you with maximum privacy and convenience. Private semen collection facilities are also available within the center, close to the lab, for your ease and comfort. During your first consultation, we will discuss additional fertility services for men and design a personalized treatment plan for you, if needed.
A urological evaluation may be advised and may include further detailed history, a physical examination, laboratory evaluation of hormones and chromosomes as well as ultrasound. Depending upon the evaluation, many male infertility causes can be treated by a urologist with medical treatment (use of hormones or hormones modifying agents) as well as surgical treatment (vericocele repair). In certain cases of severe compromise of sperm, the urologist needs to obtain sperm with surgical procedures.
Due to advances in male infertility treatment, many cases of male infertility can be helped. During your first consultation, we will discuss additional fertility services for men and design a personalized treatment plan for you, if needed.
