In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatment is a more technical advanced treatment. Through IVF treatment there is more control over obtaining eggs, fertilizing eggs, ovulation monitoring, and selecting and testing the best embryos for transfers vs. IUI treatment.
If a woman chooses to use egg freezing or fertility preservation the best time will be in her late twenties or early thirties. Over the past decade we have had fertility advances specifically in egg freezing.
Dr. Ketan Patel explains when to consider In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and common causes of infertility that will be best treated using IVF treatments.
An additional benefit of preimplantation genetic screenings is when our fertility specialists transfer back a single embryo back into the uterus that’s now been shown to be chromosomally normal there is a high chance the embryo will implant with a 65-70% success rate per transfer of a pregnancy.
