Even though infertility is a struggle that millions of couples face, there is still some stigma surrounding an infertility diagnosis. Infertility isn’t anyone’s fault – but many people struggling with it still have feelings of shame. This is made even worse by the fact that although 1 in 8 couples struggle with infertility, few ever talk about. One of the best ways to battle the stigma surrounding infertility is to break the silence. Sharing your story, or encouraging someone else to share theirs, helps start conversations that can lead to greater understanding, support, and change.
