Yoga
at Arizona Associates for Reproductive Health with Dianne
Murphy, RYT:
Our
yoga classes are a unique, healing experience. Our classes
focus primarily on stress reduction, emotional balancing,
nurturing and bringing energy (chi, qi or prana) and increased
blood flow to the pelvic area to support optimal reproductive
function. A goal of our yoga classes is to help students
access the healing qualities within and around them each
and every day. By quieting the body and mind, students experience
the release of emotional concerns and healing of the body
and mind.
The
goal of our classes is to help you to take care of yourself
and reduce stress. We focus on a yin style of yoga, which
emphasizes the feminine nature. While our classes are open
and available to both men and women, we recognize that the
major burden of treatment often falls on the female partner.
Women often cannot easily escape from treatment pressures,
even at work. Women are very aware of drug effects, appointments
they must keep, and where they are in their menstrual cycle.
It
is our hope that the experiences you have in our yoga classes
will stay with you for a lifetime. Life in our fast-paced
western culture can be challenging. Yoga can help us face
those challenges with joy and humor and live our lives with
abundant energy.
Classes
are held at Arizona Associates for Reproductive Health
in a private, quiet atmosphere. Classes are available to

ultimate way to relax. You do not need yoga experience to
participate. It is an evening of being totally supported
by pillows, blankets or other props in positions that gently
lead you into a restful experience of body and mind. Yoga
Therapy is an extraordinary way to tap into the cellular
memory of the body and to assist in the process of personal
growth and development. It is an extremely gentle process
with guidance around breath and simple dialogue. No Yoga
experience is required. Private Classes are available and
many times offered to people who have never done Yoga before
and would like to have an Ayruvedic consultation. This includes
discussing lifestyle, diet and a yoga program.
